I am not yet ready to write this poem,
\nYet, knowing this, I cannot refrain.
\nAn unnoted thought may forever escape,
\nNever to visit again.<\/p>\n
Someday I may understand these words,
\nLearn the craft, the wiles, and the way
\nTo place beautifully the beauty
\nI see, but cannot say.<\/p>\n
Perhaps in the future the ageless barriers
\nWill decay and slough from my eye
\nAnd mind, and I shall speak only the truth,
\nAnd not the fearful lie.<\/p>\n
Until that day shall I hold my tongue?
\nStop up my mouth with shame?
\nBuild new defenses and promise to be good?
\nDare not own my name?<\/p>\n
Though unready, I take pen in hand
\nTo write these words and this line.
\nI know no answer lies within
