an art form that inverts the usual mode of presenting material for comedic effect, giving gravitas to lesser subjects or treating vulgarly more dignified matter<\/p>\n<p class=\"prose\"><em>A serious <a href=\"https:\/\/educatedguesswork.com\/?p=229\">poem<\/a> about washing dishes runs the risk of slipping into <\/em>burlesque.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>10. <strong>pongid<\/strong> &#8212;
