another name for the pilcrow, a typographical mark used to designate a paragraph (\u201c\u00b6\u201d)<\/p>\n<p class=\"prose\"><em>Within each section the separate paragraphs began with an <\/em>alinea<em> followed by the number for that sub-topic.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>8. <strong>actinic<\/strong> &#8212; of or relating to radiation causing chemical or biological effects; of light which causes exposure of monochrome film<\/p>\n<p class=\"prose\"><em>The amber lantern provided non-<\/em>actinic<em> light by which to develop the incriminating images.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>9. <strong>achalasia<\/strong> &#8212;
